How It All Started

I became a travel advisor because I love helping people plan personalized vacations filled with special memories. I started Nivia's Enchanted Escapes in March 2024.

Travel has been part of my story for a long time. My family and I lived in Germany, and that's where my favorite vacation happened: a road trip through Italy followed by a Mediterranean cruise. I also spent three years teaching English online to kids in China, seeing their world through my screen and adding it to my someday list.

Then life got busy, and I had to press pause for a while.

But I never stopped loving travel, or planning beautiful trips for the people around me. The dream was just waiting for the right moment.

The Seattle Moment

In April 2026, my family and I took a vacation to Seattle, and during that trip everything clicked. I could see exactly what I wanted this business to be, and I knew I wanted to share the journey with other people as I built it.

So the very next morning, I started recording our trip and posting what I was learning along the way.

Two days after relaunching, I booked a family vacation.

That's when I knew I was on the right path, and it's the moment Nivia's Enchanted Escapes truly came back to life!

Why Accessible Travel Stole My Heart

A few months later, I went to a travel conference and learned about accessible travel. It went straight to my heart.

I have a degree in psychology, and I'm a caregiver in my own family. I already knew how much comfort, safety and personal needs shape a trip.

So I became a Certified Accessibility Specialist, because I believe everyone deserves to see the world and feel included while they do it.

My Favorite Vacation, and Why It Still Shapes My Work

While we lived in Germany, my family packed the car and drove to Italy. Four nights in Florence, a stop at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, four days in Rome and four in Venice.

Then we set sail on an eight day MSC Mediterranean cruise: Bari, Athens, Santorini, Corfu, Mykonos and Dubrovnik. Every night, dinner came from a different region of Italy. I still dream about it!

When the cruise ended, we hopped back in the car and drove home. That trip is a big reason I love planning Europe and cruise vacations for you.

What I Want You to Feel

Heard. Valued. Cared for, from our very first call until you're back home.

I want you to feel confident and included, and free to enjoy a trip designed around what you actually need.

And I want you to come home already excited about the next one!
